ICS stands for Independent Carriers System. It is a patented feeding system developed by VORTEX SYSTEMS and has already been installed in over 400 companies worldwide.
The great advantage of the ICS feeder is the ability to de-synchronise product infeed from product picking Due to the creation of an intermediate buffer. The length of the ICS can vary depending on the buffer and speeds required.
Each single carrier is equipped with a holder to transport the product.
A maintenance-free chain transports the carriers by friction.
The carrier releasing systems are servo driven, providing very high loading speed (up to 600 products/minute).
The handling of different products with different sizes is possible without any need for hardware changes, and the number of products to be handled simultaneously can be changed by software
