AL-251

Description

AL-251
AL-251

This is a highly reliable feeding/distribution system designed to handle confectionery products most commonly shaped chocolate, round, square or rectangular.

The AL-251/C streamer operates as follows: it handles chocolates that are deposited randomly, or in clearly defined groups, (manually or automatically) on the infeed conveyor belt, to be positioned lengthways (i.e. with the shortest side forward (NEL)) and in a single lane, in order to be fed into a wrapping machine.

All the product deviation and streaming operations are performed by motorised belts to assure that the products are handled delicately at high feeding speeds. To ensure maximum hygiene all the belts are supplied with scrapers and the product residues are collected in appropriate stainless steel trays. The vertical motorised belts can also be lifted to allow the operator to clean the horizontal belts easily and effectively. The latter can be removed without the use of any special tools, and are tensioned by pneumatic cylinders. The streamer is also equipped with an operator panel (HMI) that enables various sizes to be selected.

Specifications:

CONVEYING SECTION:

No.1 infeed belt with a stepping or continuous movement depending on the kind of feed (manual or automatic). If the streamer is fed manually, two stainless steel support plates are mounted on either side of the belt.

No.4 accelerator belts.

No.1 outfeed belt.

A chute for rejection of side by side products.

All the belts described above are equipped with a feed roller fitted with a scraper. The tensioning roller is fitted with a scraper and powered by a pneumatic cylinder. There is a scraper for cleaning the conveyor belt. A drive drum with an “anti-slip” coating. Standard transfer roller diameter is: 11 mm (outer diameter). Removing the belts is extremely easy and no tools at all are required, as it simply involves releasing the pressure of the pneumatic tensioning rods.

Each couple of conveyors is driven by an AC motor, controlled by an inverter.

DEVIATING-STREAMING SECTION:

No.1 vertical deviator belt driven by an AC motor controlled by inverter, installed on the first acceleration belt.

No.3 vertical streaming belts driven by an AC motor controlled by inverter, installed on the second, third and fourth acceleration belts.

No.1 end vertical streaming belt, driven by an AC motor controlled by inverter, installed on the outfeed belt.

All the vertical belts described above use an AC motor fitted directly on the belt pulley.

As an option, in case of shapes that are particularly easy to align, the vertical belts can be replaced by fixed, sawtooth shaped deviator bars.

Optional size check devices can also be fitted with a pneumatic rejection unit at the end of the belt section.

An electrical cabinet containing all the equipment commands/controls is also fitted on the machine and hinged for easy access and inspection.
