INTROMAT 2

This is an extremely reliable distribution system, designed to distribute products in rows and it is particularly suited for large and not fragile or delicate products and it is particularly suitable in systems with a high number of packaging machines or for use with fragile or delicate products.

The station consists of:

A swivelling belt, mechanically connected to a plane support and pusher, with a connecting rod-handle movement, driven by a servo-motor. The linear movement of the pusher can be driven by a pneumatic cylinder or, as an option; it can be driven by a servo-motor. The oscillating arm distributes the rows: when it is raised they can be transferred to the plate below, whilst if it is lowered, they are conveyed to the next station. The row of products left on the plate, coming into contact with the pusher in the back position, is realigned. When the oscillating arm returns to the horizontal position, the plate assumes the same position, allowing the pusher to transfer the row on the transversal belt. At this point the plate is able to receive another row and hold it until the previous one has not been completely sent to the packaging machine.

A transversal belt, driven by an AC motor, which receives the product rows and transfers them to the packaging machine infeed belts. The complete transversal belt structure can slide on special guides and it can be completely removed from the machine body, to facilitate cleaning and/or maintenance operations.

The reduced gaps between two consecutive groups (or rows) of products, will be eliminated by subsequent gap closer belts.

The station that feeds the last packaging machine of the line can be constructed in the “REC” version, designed to retrieve any rows lost from the previous stations and transferred on the outfeed belt. A swivelling arm-pickup plate movement has been added to the station, specular to the first and able to transfer rows always on the same transversal belt. This configuration lets you pickup rows from the outfeed belt even if there are rows coming from the production.

The overhanging construction allows the belts to be interchanged without the need for special tools, whilst the scrapers are easily accessible and fitted with crumb collecting trays. Pneumatic tension devices and automatic centring systems guarantee the long life and silent running of the conveyor belts.
